Output
- Output Knob Adjusts the output volume. From -∞dB to +12dB, centered at 0dB (double-click).
- Left Input Input for the signal that will be played on the left channel.
- Right Input Input for the signal that will be played on the right channel. Normalled to the left signal, so you don’t need to connect both jacks for mono output.
- Delay Knob Adjusts the amount of audio signal sent to the built-in delay effect.
- Reverb Knob Adjusts the amount of audio signal sent to the built-in reverb effect.
Overview ⚓︎
The Output module is always present in the top row and cannot be removed. The patch will not produce any sound unless an audio signal is connected into this module’s Left or Right jacks.
Adjust the output volume with the big knob.
The Left and Right inputs are normalled to each other, so there’s no need to connect both in a monophonic patch.
In Depth ⚓︎
Signal Level ⚓︎
Any signal above 25V or below -25V will be clipped, which can cause glitches or harsh distortion. To avoid this, try adjusting the output level to the 0dB mark in the level meter on the Toolbar.
Effects ⚓︎
The Delay and Reverb knobs adjust the amount of audio signal sent to the built-in Delay and Reverb modules, which are found in the Effects panel, accessed from the toolbar with the View→Effects menu. Please refer to the Delay (Output Effect) and Reverb (Output Effect) documentation for more information on these modules.
The Delay and Reverb effects are in parallel, and their knobs are post-volume, so it’s not possible to only hear the delay or reverb signals.
